Your character/s ride, right? Well, if they want to show in anything, they'll register with either PCAWA (under 25's) or EWA (any age) or both.
Rider Name: blah Age: blah Registry: PCAWA or EWA or both Discipline: blah Level of Membership: I should go into this one a little more. 'basic' membership is so you can take lessons with a PCAWA or EWA approved coach, and have insurance for shows. 'associate' membership is that plus you accumulate points for shows, and can compete in 'official' shows. 'senior' membership is associate plus you can register horses, become or remain a coach, and/or be listed in the breeders' registry.
IT COSTS MONEY. Each level costs more. EWA is more expensive than PCAWA. We don't have a money system here so just make sure it's realistically within the means of your character.
PCAWA membership is from $100 (basic) to $300 a year. EWA membership is from $250 (basic) to $600 a year. Many serious competitors have both memberships, or EWA only, if they can manage it, because most competitions are run under EWA memberships/insurance/rules.
